As you can see, pricing remains the highlight and the era of many being baffled continues. I must say, it is beyond wild when day in and day out I see what feels like more price reductions and desperation being showcased from sellers/builders compared to prior years only to be contradicted with these types of statistics. Yes, multiple offers are still happening. And yes, inventory still technically favors sellers. However, the optics from watching various neighborhoods, price points, and styles across the entire metro feels so incredibly disconnected. As a colleague said quite plainly the other day, “It just doesn’t make sense.”
