Each month Minnesota Realtors puts out a report for the last months housing report sharing stats and updates! Anyway, the October Housing Report has been released! Please take a moment to review the snapshot below or scan the blog and/or stats whenever you find yourself with a convenient moment.
The status of the market remains flat overall with not a ton new to report, which is honestly normal going into this last month and a half stretch. Unless you have a dire motivation to move (divorce, death, relocation), from a sellers perspective, it is best to turn your attention to the new year. However, my tip for this month remains the same as last where if you are a buyer, it is a fantastic time to go deal hunting. I won’t lie, there will be a lot of duds along the way, but if that perfect gem happens to hit, the competition is weaker, and the desperation of the seller is 100% evident. In other words, don’t sleep on these next 6 weeks.
With the real estate info being light this month, I would instead like to focus your attention to our brokerages annual charitable event. For the 5th straight year, Dwell is again working with Best Christmas Ever and sponsoring a family in need. This has been an amazing partnership these last 4 years raising over $50,000 AND an incredible number of gifts and we are hoping to make this year just as wonderful.
